Strong performance by Paatz at Champions of the Future in Portimao

Mathilda Paatz showed last weekend that she is also one of the fastest women in the world in karting: The young driver from Cologne, who made the switch to formula racing this season and recently impressed with a steep learning curve in Formula 4 France, took part in the Champions of the Future Euro Series in preparation for the World Shifter Kart Championship in Portimao (10th to 13th October). Although Paatz lacked the necessary bit of luck to finish at the front, the ADAC Sports Foundation protégée left a good impression with her strong performance, which gives hope.

No luck for Paatz at the Champions of the Future in Franciacorta

The final of the Champions of the Future Euro Series (CotF) in Franciacorta, Italy, was a big disappointment for Mathilda Paatz. After a good start to the weekend, which raised hopes of a good result, the DPK-Racing pilot was slowed down by a defective race engine. In the heats, in which some of the young talents were over-motivated and went at it with a crowbar, Paatz had to avoid the collisions and accidents in front of her and thus fell back to the end of the field several times.

Good weekend at the Champions of the Future Euro Series in Cremona

At the fourth round of the Champions of the Future Euro Series (CotF) in Cremona, Italy, Mathilda Paatz from Cologne had a good but not flawless weekend: The DPK-Racing driver didn't really get going at the beginning of the event, but was able to prove her skills in the final heats and the concluding Superheat. The 14-year-old thus gained important experience for the FIA European Kart Championship race in a fortnight' time.

Paatz impresses at Champions of the Future in Trinec with strong catch-up chase

At the second round of the Champions of the Future Euro Series (CotF) in Trinec, Czech Republic, Mathilda Paatz impressed with a strong recovery: After an unsuccessful qualifying in which the DPK-Racing driver was thwarted by an opponent, she managed much better in the heats and gradually fought her way to the front. In the pre-final on Saturday, Paatz was able to prove her talent when she made up 13 positions. Nevertheless, the 14-year-old missed out on the final she had hoped for, but the steep learning curve gives her confidence.
