Mathilda Paatz, one of the talented young drivers in international motorsport, will continue to be sponsored by the Deutscher Sportfahrer Kreis e.V. in the 2023 season. The Cologne native, who is competing in international kart races in Europe this year, is delighted about the important support. The aim of the joint cooperation is to inspire more women to take up motorsport.
The Deutscher Sportfahrer Kreis e.V. is actively committed to increasing the proportion of women in motorsport. To this end, the DSK Women's Club was founded in 2019 to provide a platform for the exchange of experiences and opinions and to make it easier for interested women to enter motorsport. At the Deutscher Sportfahrer Kreis e.V., not only active female drivers come together, but also female engineers, sports administrators or fans. Claudia Hürtgen, one of the most successful female motorsport drivers in Germany, is one of the supporters of the DSK Women's Club.
Mathilda Paatz has not only been one of the DSK members for a few years now, but also one of the up-and-coming female promotional drivers. The cooperation between the Cologne racing driver and the Deutscher Sportfahrer Kreis e.V. offers numerous opportunities for both sides. Last year, fans were able to take a look at the young motor sportswoman's racing kart at the DSK stand at the Essen Motorshow. There, Paatz was available for talks, autographs and photos with the fans.
Important support for the future
Mathilda Paatz will continue to receive important support from the Deutscher Sportfahrer Kreis e.V. in the 2023 season. The 14-year-old will compete in the races of the Italian WSK Series, the Champions of the Future Euro Series and the rounds of the European and World Championships. Together with DPK-Racing, the junior team of Formula 1 star Fernando Alonso, Paatz fights for best times and top placings. The new logo of the Deutscher Sportfahrer Kreis e.V. can be found on the kart and racing suit.
"I am very happy that I can continue to rely on the support of the Deutscher Sportfahrer Kreis e.V.," says Mathilda Paatz. "This is of great importance for my further career and maybe we will succeed in inspiring even more women for motorsport. In the past years, I have already proven several times that the male competition is not necessarily faster. Even as a woman, you have a realistic chance in male-dominated motorsport!"
Mathilda Paatz will contest the next race from 26 to 30 April 2023 in Cremona, Italy.
