Formula 4 CEZ
In the 2025 season, Mathilda Paatz will compete in the Formula Winter Series and in Formula 4 CEZ, where she will even drive for her own team ‘mathilda racing’. At the season opener at the Red Bull Ring, Paatz finished ninth overall in the third race, scoring her first points in an official FIA championship.
Formula 4 France
Mathilda Paatz made the transition to single-seater racing in the 2024 season. The Cologne native is competing for the ADAC Formula 4 Junior Team in the French Formula 4 Championship and gaining her first experience. The 16-year-old is proving her talent with a number of highlights, including a second place on the grid at Magny-Course. Nevertheless, her first season in a formula car is above all a year of learning.
OK Senioren
Mathilda Paatz gained important experience at international level in the 2023 season. For DPK-Racing, the junior team of Formula 1 world champion Fernando Alonso, the Cologne native competed in the Champions of the Future Euro Series and in the European and World Championship races. Paatz also fought her way back into the final of ‘FIA Girls on Track’, where she gained her first experience in a Formula 4 car. There, too, the schoolgirl was able to shine with fast lap times.
OK Junioren
In the 2022 season, Mathilda Paatz competed in the OK Junior class, including in the ADAC Kart Masters (3rd place overall and victory in the Ladies Cup) as well as in the WSK Series and the FIA Kart World Championship. The ‘Speedgirl’ was nominated to represent Germany as part of the ‘Motorsport Team Germany’ at the FIA Motorsport Games and in the FIA Karting Academy Trophy. As a Top 4 finalist, Mathilda Paatz fought for the title right up to the final of ‘FIA Girls on Track’.
OK Junioren
In the 2021 season, Mathilda Paatz competed in the OK Junior class of the ADAC Kart Masters as well as in the German Junior Kart Championship. Together with the TB Racing Team led by team boss Thomas Braumüller, the fast Cologne native set her sights on top ten finishes. Paatz achieved this goal in Mülsen and Wackersdorf. In addition, the „speed girl“ was crowned the third best lady of the season at the end of the year.
Mini
In the 2020 season, Mathilda Paatz competed with the TB Racing Team in the Mini class. In the ADAC Kart Masters, the speed girl narrowly missed out on the title in third place and was honoured as the best lady in the championship. In return, it was enough to win the championship title in the West German ADAC Kart Cup, WAKC for short. Another highlight was the participation in the international ROK Cup Superfinal in Italy, where the student also presented the best girl.
The beginning
