Obwohl die Pilotin des ADAC Formel 4 Junior Teams zum Saisonabschluss nichts Z\u00e4hlbares mitnehmen konnte, blickt das 16-j\u00e4hrige Nachwuchstalent auf eine lehrreiche und damit positive Premierensaison zur\u00fcck. Vor allem in der zweiten Saisonh\u00e4lfte konnte sich die K\u00f6lnerin deutlich steigern, einige H\u00f6hepunkte setzen und vielversprechende Ergebnisse einfahren. Trotz eines unverschuldeten Doppelausfalls beim Finale zieht die Pilotin des Motorsport Team Germany deshalb ein zufriedenes Saisonfazit.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beim Finale in Le Castellet konnte Paatz nicht an die steile Lernkurve und die Erfolge der letzten Rennen ankn\u00fcpfen. Im Qualifying leistete sich die K\u00f6lnerin zwei Fehler, die einen guten Startplatz und somit eine aussichtsreiche Position f\u00fcr die Rennen verhinderten. Am Ende landete die 16-J\u00e4hrige auf der 23. Gesamtposition. Damit waren die Hoffnungen auf die ersten Punkte des Jahres erheblich ged\u00e4mpft. Dennoch blieb die F\u00f6rderpilotin der ADAC Stiftung Sport optimistisch und konnte nach dem Start zum ersten Rennen einige Positionen gut machen, als sie bereits nach wenigen Kurven von einem Konkurrenten am Heck getroffen und umgedreht wurde. Zu allem Ungl\u00fcck erwischte sie der gleiche Kontrahent auch noch im Frontbereich, sodass Paatz ihren besch\u00e4digten Boliden abstellen musste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Auch im zweiten Rennen lief es nicht besser: Nachdem sich die F\u00f6rderpilotin des Deutschen Sportfahrerkreises erneut um mehrere Pl\u00e4tze nach vorne gek\u00e4mpft hatte, verpasste ein \u00fcberm\u00fctiger Kontrahent in der Schikane auf der Gegengerade erneut den Bremspunkt. Paatz wurde noch in der ersten Runde abgeschossen und musste das Rennen vorzeitig beenden. &#8222;Ich bin nicht nur entt\u00e4uscht, sondern auch ziemlich sauer&#8220;, fand Paatz deutliche Worte f\u00fcr das Verhalten der Konkurrenz. &#8222;Die beiden haben mir an diesem Wochenende mit ihren sinnfreien Man\u00f6vern alle Chancen auf ein zufriedenstellendes Ergebnis zum Saisonabschluss genommen. In der ersten Runde gewinnt man keine Rennen.&#8220;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Starke Deb\u00fctsaison in der Formel 4<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Im dritten und letzten Rennen am Sonntag, das aufgrund starker Regenf\u00e4lle zu einer chaotischen Achterbahnfahrt f\u00fcr die Fahrerinnen und Fahrer wurde, belegte Paatz den 25. Platz. &#8222;Schlechter h\u00e4tte das letzte Rennwochenende des Jahres nicht laufen k\u00f6nnen&#8220;, gibt die K\u00f6lnerin zu. &#8222;Dennoch blicke ich auf eine positive Deb\u00fctsaison zur\u00fcck. Ich habe viel gelernt und mich kontinuierlich gesteigert, was ich im Finale leider nicht unter Beweis stellen konnte. Das i-T\u00fcpfelchen hat gefehlt. Aber die positiven Momente, wie der neunte Platz im Qualifying in Magny-Cours und der zehnte Platz im zweiten Rennen in Dijon, zeigen, dass ich konkurrenzf\u00e4hig bin!&#8220;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mit der Schaltkart-Weltmeisterschaft in Portimao (10. bis 13. Oktober) im S\u00fcden Portugals steht f\u00fcr Mathilda Paatz in diesem Jahr noch ein sportlicher H\u00f6hepunkt auf dem Programm. Wie es f\u00fcr die 16-J\u00e4hrige in der Saison 2025 weitergeht, ist derzeit noch offen. &#8222;Nat\u00fcrlich m\u00f6chte ich n\u00e4chstes Jahr in der F1 Academy fahren und dort mein K\u00f6nnen zeigen, aber noch ist nichts entschieden&#8220;, verr\u00e4t Paatz.
